Burt Lancaster stars as Owen Daybright in this tale of warring brothers in a hostile land, at a time when morals were a matter of family honour and any betrayal had to be avenged. When Owen’s married brother Lee gets a young woman pregnant, her family are determined to discover the name of the father and they’d rather shot first than ask questions.
