Description
Jay Swan and Mary are attempting to forge a new life together as they care for her niece, Anya, and await the birth of their first child.
After Jay rescues a distressed runaway boy who believes he’s being haunted, a young child goes missing and a former nun drowns mysteriously in her own bath – the town has been hiding a shadowy past that is still rippling through the present. When a second victim is shot in broad daylight, Anya also goes.
Jay’s struggle to reconcile the cool-headedness of his calling with the emotional vulnerability of a life with Mary and their child is finally resolved when his first kill forces him to make a critical choice between his badge and his wife and baby.
