You can record audio from an external audio source through the 3.5MM AUX IN JACK on the side (cord is not included).
Listen in privacy by plugging your headphones into the headphone jack or record an interview by plugging in the included external microphone. The built-in speaker also allows for group listening to the AM/FM radio receiver. The 3.5mm auxiliary input also makes it possible to plug in an iPod, MP3 player or other digital audio device to play music through this cassette recorder’s speakers.
